Who we are
ICHCA Australia is responsible for running the affairs of ICHCA in Australia, and represents Australia’s views at ICHCA International and other forums.
Membership of ICHCA Australia is open to individuals, organisations and businesses involved in freight movement and logistics consistent with the company’s objectives. Through ICHCA Australia's affiliation with ICHCA International Ltd, members gain access to ICHCA International Ltd's member's voting rights.
ICHCA Australia Limited is a not for profit, public company limited by guarantee. It is self funded and non-political. ICHCA exists to benefit its members and the cargo handling and logistics industry. ICHCA Australia is proud to be part of the ICHCA International Ltd global network and has members in 90 Countries.
Mission & Aims
Promote Efficient Cargo handling
In appreciation of its vital function to world trade, national economies, business and industry, and the livelihood and wellbeing of many hundreds of thousands of workers right around the globe.
Assist Cooperation
Between many different parties as a critical factor to the safety and overall performance of today’s increasingly complex cargo chains, which often reach across multiple continents, cultures, jurisdictions, transport modes and logistics nodes.
Provide a Platform
To co-ordinate the dialogue and build relations between
the many private and public sector stakeholders, to foster greater cross-party understanding, and to shape and share good practice for the benefit of all.
